Principal Engineer
Satinder P. Singh has twenty-six years of professional experience in the design of bridges, buildings, and infrastructure projects. As a technical structural lead, he has designed new short and long span steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete, and timber bridges. He has worked with multi-disciplinary engineering teams for the design of infrastructure projects including the design of new Bay Bridge, Iron Horse Trail Pedestrian Bridge, ART/BART structure at San Francisco Airport, blast resistant marine barrier for BART, and dismantling of Bay Bridge and Gerald Desmond Bridge. During last twenty years, he has worked extensively on the design and structural evaluation of projects owned by Caltrans, BART, and local agencies in California. He has extensively used FEMA and ASCE criteria for the seismic evaluation and performance based design of buildings.
As the Principal Engineer at SPS Engineers and as part of various large design teams, Satinder P. Singh has worked with Prime design firms and Public Agencies for risk assessment and risk mitigation of various design and construction activities.
